Getting In Shape for the New Year

Don't wait until the holidays are over before you decide to shape up. 

Why?  

Because your mother-in-law is coming for the holidays, and that's reason enough. She will not come with a stocking full of cheer.  She will come to jeer at you, at that great big pumpkin-looking gut and butt you've grown all year.  Do you want to be subjected to that, Diet Soldier?  NO!

So stand tall, Diet Soldier!  Stand firm - and while you're at it, firm up those buttocks, that gut and those bat-winged upper arms!  

 

Drop to the floor NOW Diet Soldier and give me:

  • 10 sit-ups - no sissy style stuff either!
  • 20 windmills (stand with arms out - touch opposite toe)
  • 10 jumping jacks
  • 10 left & right leg lifts (lying on floor sideways)
  • Grab your 2 or 3 pound weights and lay on your back on your bed.  Very carefully hold a weight in each hand and let your arm hang off the bed.  Slowly bring weight straight up to tighten batwings.
  • Squats - give me 25!  These babies are thigh busters.

We're done.  For now.  Go hit the showers.
