If you need to lose weight, then
slow down when you're eating! It's the number one reason why you got that
gut and butt in the first place.
If you're poking food in as fast as you
can eat it, you're not enjoying each and every bite. You're not satisfying
your chewing urge.
You're also
taking in more air than the Goodyear Blimp.
You'll generally discover that right
about bedtime, too.
Make
meal times, good times. Make them
last; savor your grub. As an example,
I like to eat my navy beans, one bean at
a time.

- Slow down!
- Put on a little music. I like
God Bless America, myself.
- Set the table with elegant military-green
dinnerware.
- Light a few candles. (Be sure
to remove any grenades from the
area before lighting candles.)
- Shake the mothballs off that tux
or gown and dress up for your daily rations.
- Get out the wine glasses and fill
them with sparkling water and a slice of lemon or lime. Or try
something totally rash like a slice
of orange or whole strawberry.
- If
the phone rings, let freedom ring.
- And lift that pinky when you eat
with me!
